Tomatin 14 Year Old Port Casks is a Highland single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spends 13 years in bourbon casks, followed by a final year in port casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and the port influence adds fine, spicy notes alongside the fruit.
The nose is sweet, with apple, caramel, honey, berries and a little dark chocolate. Peach, mango, plum and roasted nuts come through on the palate, and the finish is long, delicate and pleasantly fruity.
