This is a single cask Tomatin from 1999, aged 21 years in an Oloroso sherry hogshead, cask number 43403. It is a Highland single malt bottled exclusively for Denmark at a cask strength of 54.8%, without filtration. Over two decades in the Oloroso hogshead gave it a deep, rich character. The nose brings dark fruit, nuts, spice and a touch of leather. On the palate it is full and warm, with raisins, dark chocolate, spiced oak and sherry sweetness. The finish is long, with dry sherry, toasted nuts and a gentle warmth.
