This is a 16 year old Highland single malt from Tomatin, distilled in 2006 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It comes in a 700ml bottle at 55.3% ABV. The whisky was aged in a refill hogshead. The nose offers pineapple, dried mango, crisp red apple, desiccated coconut, orange and grapefruit. On the palate, sweet citrus peel gives way to vanilla fudge and orchard blossom, with a herbal note, white chocolate and a little black pepper. The finish is medium-bodied, with lingering tangerine and oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
