This is a 16 year old Tomatin from the Highlands, distilled in 2006 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice series. It matured in a refill hogshead and is bottled at 55.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers pineapple, dried mango, red apple, desiccated coconut, orange and grapefruit. On the palate come sweet citrus peel, vanilla fudge, orchard blossom and white chocolate, with a little black pepper. The finish is medium in weight, with tangerine and oak.
