Tomatin Cask Strength is a Highland single malt bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
The whisky is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. Tomatin has been producing whisky since 1897, in the mountains south of Inverness.
The nose is sweet vanilla, fresh malt, dried fruit, light spice and gentle orchard fruit. The palate is full-bodied, with honey, toffee, warm oak, citrus peel, cinnamon and sherried dried fruit, and a creamy texture. The finish is long and warm, with spice, dried fruit and toasted oak.
