A 10 year old Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, in a 35cl half bottle at 40% ABV. The distillery calls it "the gentle dram".
It is matured in bourbon casks, each aged for at least ten years.
The nose is delicate and floral, with acacia honey, vanilla, wholemeal toast and mellow wood spices. Sweet and honeyed on the palate, it brings creme caramel, toasted almond, lemon zest and a grassy freshness. The finish carries buttery oak and citrus peels, fading into lingering cake spice.
