A 12 year old Highland single malt from Tomintoul, Glenlivet, from the 1980s. It is known for its distinctive perfume-style bottle. The whisky is a full gold colour. The nose is malty and mentholated, with toast, a little smoke, earl grey tea, butterscotch and honey. Fresh chamomile, other floral notes and a little liquorice sit alongside. The palate is firm and malty with a caramel note, along with bubblegum, marshmallow, grenadine, honey-coated nuts, violet sweets and vanilla fudge. The finish is medium to long, malty, grainy and fudgy.
