This is a Tomintoul single malt from Speyside, bottled by the Scottish Malt Whisky Society under the code 89.4. It is 19 years old, comes from 1976 and is bottled at 57.1% ABV.
The colour is full gold. The nose combines banana and apple with golden syrup, flowers, honeycomb, ripe mirabelles and apricots. With water it moves towards barley syrup, plum jam and honey.
The palate is oily and bright, with maple syrup and a persistent banana note. With water it turns to yellow fruits and pale honey.
