A 12 year old Tomintoul-Glenlivet from the 1980s, bottled for Whyte & Mackay in a 37.5cl porcelain pot still decanter. Tomintoul was built in 1965 by the whisky brokers Hay & MacLeod and W & S Strong, and merged with Whyte & Mackay in the early 1970s. It passed to Angus Dundee Distillers in 2000. The name comes from Scotland's highest village, a few miles from the distillery, which is known for gentle, mellow whiskies and the tagline 'The Gentle Dram'.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
