A 16 year old Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, bottled at 40% ABV in a one litre bottle. It is matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and is the go-to single malt of the distillery's Master Distiller, Robert Fleming.
It is described as sweet, creamy and well balanced, with fruit and a little spice. The nose offers heather honey, soft nougat, vanilla fudge and toasted brioche with lemon zest. The palate is nutty and well rounded, with creme brulee, boiled sweets, mocha and amaretti biscuit. The finish is mellow and warming, with shortbread, cinnamon icing and brittle toffee.
