A Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, part of the distillery's cask finish series. Master Distiller Robert Fleming selected whisky aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels for this small batch bottling, then finished it in hand selected Cognac casks from France.
It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is light and lifted, with chestnut, lemon rind, blossom honey and amaretti biscuits. Choux pastry, Chantilly cream, sugared almonds, butterscotch and golden raisins feature on the palate. The finish carries white chocolate, panettone and nutmeg, fading into warming ginger.
