Tomintoul Tlàth is a Scotch single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. Tlàth is Gaelic for gentle or mellow, which matches the 'gentle dram' used across Tomintoul editions.
The whisky comes from a careful, hand-chosen selection of individual casks, with whiskies of various ages matured in American oak bourbon barrels.
The nose is soft and sweet, with shortbread, flaked almonds, honey and vanilla pod. The palate is creamy and nutty, with butter pastry, stewed apple, almond fingers and a little cinnamon. The finish is gently spiced, with roast hazelnut, cocoa powder and oat biscuit.
