Tomintoul Tlàth is a Scotch single malt, here in a 35cl half bottle. Tlàth is Gaelic for gentle or mellow, echoing the 'gentle dram' used across Tomintoul editions.
It is made from a careful selection of individual casks, with whiskies of various ages matured in American oak bourbon barrels.
The nose is soft and sweet, with shortbread, flaked almonds, honey and vanilla pod. The palate is creamy and nutty, with butter pastry, stewed apple, almond fingers and a little cinnamon. The finish is gently spiced, with roast hazelnut, cocoa powder and oat biscuit.
