This is a 2015 Tormore from Speyside, bottled by Murray McDavid at 54.1% in a 70cl bottle. It has been finished in rum casks. Tormore was founded in 1958 at Advie, near Grantown-on-Spey, and its buildings are now listed. The distillery draws its water from the Achvochkie spring and is owned by Chivas Brothers. Most of its whisky goes into blends such as Long John, so a single malt bottling from an independent house is a less common sight.
