This is an independent single malt from Tormore in Speyside, distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2024 by Milroy's of Soho in its Vintage Speyside Reserve range. It matured for 31 years in a single hogshead and is bottled at 40.1% in a 70cl bottle.
The character is bright and citrus-forward, and the nose shows orange marmalade, candied lemon peel, beeswax and dried tropical fruits.
The palate is rich and waxy, with poached pears, runny honey, subtle nutmeg and toasted oak. The finish is long and warming, with lingering orchard fruit and sweet wood spice.
