Traverse City Whiskey Co. Bourbon American Cherry Edition is a flavoured whiskey from Michigan, made by steeping bourbon with Montmorency cherries. The fruit comes from the Fredrickson family farm, at more than ten pounds of cherries to the barrel, and no sugar is added. It is bottled at 35% ABV.
On the nose, bourbon caramel sits under fresh cherry. The palate brings vanilla and oak wrapped in tart Montmorency cherry, and the finish carries cherry skin and gentle spice.
