This is a Glen Garioch single malt bottled independently by Tri Carragh, in a 70cl bottle at 53.4% ABV. It was distilled in 2009, matured for 14 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel and bottled in 2023.
The nose is sweet, with cherry drops, vanilla, Victoria sponge and subtle fresh herbal notes; water brings out jam, butter cream and a light lemonade fizz. On the palate, pepper and wood spices lead into orchard fruits and tinned sweets, and with water darker fruits come forward, with berries, cherry jam and flying saucer sweets. The finish is fresh and floral.
