An Irish whiskey at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle, Tullamore Dew was first made in 1829 in Tullamore, County Offaly, in the heart of Ireland. The name comes from the initials of its first owner, Daniel E. Williams. It is triple distilled, as is usual for Irish whiskey, and is regarded as a soft, fine whiskey with a pleasant malt taste, a touch of charcoal and the natural flavour of golden barley. It is drunk neat, over ice or with a little water.
