This is a Tullibardine 10 Year Old, a Highland single malt distilled in 2005 and bottled as a single cask by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society under the code 28.26. It was released only in the USA, in a 75cl bottle, and the cask gave 192 bottles.
The nose begins with paint and glue, which water shifts towards fresh linen and warm photocopies. Beneath are herbal, grassy notes of hay, thyme and cucumber, and sweetness of brandy snaps, orange zest, peach stones, golden syrup and chilli marmalade. The palate has a punch of spirity heat, followed by grassy, cereal notes including popcorn.
