Tullibardine – 2005 Adelphi Club (60%)

This is a 2005 Tullibardine, a Highland single malt bottled by Adelphi from a single cask at 60%. It was matured in sherry casks taken from a well-known solera system in Jerez, and no colour was added. The nose is fresh and lightly floral, with a hint of toffee and cream caramel. The palate is light and elegant, with green apples. The finish is long and light, with a crisp note of toasted nuts, and the strength is felt only faintly.
