This is an 18 year old Highland single malt from Tullibardine, distilled in 2006 and bottled at 55.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the fourth release in the distillery's Single Cask Edition.
The whisky spent seven years finishing in a Madeira wine cask. Only 174 bottles were filled, and it is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
Tasters picked out peaches, plums and pineapple, with spices, dried fruit and raisins. The aroma is of sherry-soaked Christmas cake over a sweet, creamy vanilla base from bourbon.
