Tullibardine – 225 Sauternes Cask Finish (70cl, 43%)

This Highland single malt from Tullibardine is finished in Sauternes casks and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Sauternes, a sweet wine, supplies the casks for the extra maturation, and contributes a good deal to the fruity character of the whisky. The nose shows citrus, malt, flowers and vanilla. The palate is sweet, with tropical fruit, pineapple and orange. The finish is medium to long, soft and sweet.
