This is a Tullibardine single malt finished in 228 litre barriques that previously held Pinot Noir from Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The time in those casks gives the whisky its auburn colour.
The distillery describes a nose of red cherries and vanilla, with hints of chocolate and Turkish Delight. The palate shows red summer fruit and more chocolate, and the finish carries a sweet spice note.
