Tullibardine – 228 Burgundy Cask Finish (70cl, 43%)

This is a Tullibardine Highland single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. After its ex-bourbon maturation, the whisky spent 12 months in a red Burgundy cask from Château de Chassagne Montrachet. Such a cask holds 228 litres, which gives the bottling its name. The nose offers vanilla, mild chocolate and red summer fruits. The palate is creamy, balanced and spicy, with red berries and a slightly dry edge. The finish is medium in length, spicy and fruity.
