Tullibardine – 228 Burgundy Finish (43%)

This is a Highland single malt from Tullibardine, bottled at 43%. For the last 12 months of maturation it rested in red wine casks from Château de Chassagne Montrachet in Burgundy, which gave it a reddish tinge and fresh, rich berry aromas. The nose has vanilla and chocolate in good balance. The palate is full and fresh with a creamy texture, and the finish carries plenty of dark, rich fruit.
