Tullibardine – 500 Sherry Cask Finish (70cl, 43%)

This is a Tullibardine Highland single malt finished in sherry casks, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The whisky spends 12 months in sherry casks of 500 litres, the size that gives the bottling its name, before being reduced to 43% and bottled. The nose brings apples, toffee, spice and dried fruit. On the palate are chocolate, spices, dried fruit, berries and vanilla, with a slightly dry edge. The finish is long and distinctly fruity.
