This is a 15 year old Highland single malt from Tullibardine, the Double Wood expression, bottled at 46% ABV. It shows a malty character and a light profile.
The nose is rich and honeyed, over vanilla ice cream, with hints of dark chocolate and dried figs. With time, subtle sherry notes appear alongside citrus fruit, freshly washed peaches and delicate oak in the background.
The palate brings delicate honey, cherry, cinnamon and hints of espresso, with fresh strawberries and cream. The finish is gently spiced, with sherry lingering on the tongue.
