Turntable Spirits x Starward Collaboration Drop 01 is a blended whisky released in 2023, made together by Glasgow-based Turntable Spirits and Australia's Starward Whisky. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
39% of the blend is Starward Australian whisky matured in ex-Australian red wine casks. The rest is Scotch whisky from Inchgower, Caol Ila and North British.
The nose brings red berry jam, stone fruit and cigar-box aromas with vanilla, coconut and gentle maritime smoke. On the palate, juicy tropical and stone fruits lead to apricot and red berries, then soft peat smoke, clove, ginger and drying oak. The finish is medium in length.
