Two Stacks Smoke & Mirrors Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey (70cl, 48%)

Smoke & Mirrors is a peated Irish single malt from Two Stacks, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from malted barley, part of it peated, and is triple distilled in copper pot stills. The whiskey is aged in ex-bourbon casks and bottled without chill filtration. On the nose, gentle peat smoke mingles with honey, orchard fruits and vanilla. The palate begins with sweet malt and caramel before a balanced smokiness, with toasted oak, ripe pear and a hint of spice. The finish is medium to long, with lingering warmth, wisps of smoke and a sweet bourbon-barrel richness.
