Two Stacks The First Cut Irish Whiskey (70cl)

Two Stacks The First Cut is an Irish whiskey blended from malt, grain and pot still components. It is bottled without colouring and without chill-filtration. The blend is 40% dark grain aged in virgin oak, 40% light grain aged in ex-bourbon casks, 8% pot still aged in Oloroso sherry butts, 10% double malt in ex-bourbon casks and 2% peated whiskey, also in ex-bourbon casks. The components are between three and a half and four and a half years old. The nose offers vanilla cream, dried pineapple and walnut. The medium-weight palate brings candied citrus, almond skin and hints of sherry, balanced by woody spice, and the finish is long.
