Uncharted 'Blue Label' is an eight-year-old single malt distilled at Aultmore and bottled at 46% as batch 1.
The batch is drawn from three ex-bourbon casks, chosen for a clear aroma, fruity character and sweet finish. It is an unpeated whisky, and the batch yields 640 bottles.
On the nose there are pear drops, pineapple and lemon sorbet. The palate is notably soft, with lemon cake and flowers balanced by light oak. The long finish brings gentle esters, pear and a touch of vanilla.
