This is an undisclosed Islay single malt from the Infrequent Flyers range of the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, released as part of Batch 21. It was distilled in 2007 and bottled in April 2026 at a natural cask strength of 53.7%, in a 70cl bottle.
After 18 years of maturation, the final five years and three months were spent finishing in an Oloroso sherry puncheon. The release is limited to 322 bottles.
The nose brings baked peach, cranberries, blood orange and cracked black pepper over sweet, smoky undertones. On the palate, Islay peat meets sweet Oloroso, with dark chocolate, stewed sultanas, Amarena cherries and cinnamon.
