Valdespino Rare Spirits Malt Whisky is a malt whisky from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain, aged in old sherry casks and released as a limited batch. It is bottled at 43.5% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is complex, with tobacco, honey, caramel, raisins and dates over old wood and sweet spices. The palate is silky and delicate, with ripe plum, oloroso character, vanilla, toffee, cinnamon and a few green, vegetal touches. The finish is long and persistent, with a subtle mineral and smoky note.
