Liber El Diablito Sulfuroso is a 15 year old Spanish single malt, distilled on 8 November 2006 and bottled on 9 September 2022. It matured in a single old PX sherry cask, number 71, and is bottled at a cask strength of 58.7% ABV, without added colour or chill-filtration. The outturn is 320 bottles of 50cl.
The nose is spicy with sour wine notes, then toffee, raisins, dried figs, tobacco and a light sulphur edge. On the palate come caramel, syrupy sweetness, dates, fig jam, burnt matches, herbal sweets, a crème brûlée crust and cocoa powder. The finish brings oak spice, dark chocolate and lingering sulphur, turning dry.
