Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG Cucaione is a white wine from Piero Mancini, made exclusively from Vermentino grapes grown on the granitic soils typical of Gallura, Sardinia.
It has an intense and complex aromatic bouquet of green apple, pear, white flowers and aromatic herbs, with a pleasant salinity from the sea breeze. On the palate it is fresh and lively, with soft attack, good acidity, citrus and white-fleshed fruit flavours, marked minerality and a persistent, refreshing finish. Serve at 8-10°C.
