A Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG from Piero Mancini, made exclusively from Vermentino grapes. It has a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose shows white flowers, white-fleshed fruit such as peach and Mediterranean aromatic herbs. On the palate freshness and alcohol are well balanced, with present but not intrusive acidity and a long, pleasantly persistent finish. It suits fish dishes, especially raw fish and seafood, vegetable dishes, fresh cheeses and aperitifs.
