A 12 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Very Old Barton, distilled in 1969 and bottled in 1981 at 40% in a 75cl bottle. This older bottling was imported into Italy by G. F. Ferraretto of Milan.
Very Old Barton comes from the Barton 1792 distillery in Bardstown, one of Kentucky's oldest, founded in 1889 by Tom Moore. It was renamed Barton when Oscar Getz bought it in 1944, and later passed to Glenmore, Constellation Brands and finally Sazerac.
