Very Olde St. Nick Ancient Cask 12 Resurrection (75cl)

Very Olde St. Nick Ancient Cask 12 Resurrection is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, now bottled by Preservation Distillery. The brand was founded in 1986 by Marci Palatella and built its name on Japanese demand for aged bourbon. It is matured in virgin oak casks, and each bottling is drawn from a small selection of aged barrels. The nose brings cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla bean and a little oak char, with raisin, cherry and honey beneath. On the palate come caramel, toffee, light dryness and dark chocolate mid-palate. The finish is long and warming, with oak, cinnamon and dried fruit.
