Veuve Goudoulin VSOP Bas-Armagnac (70cl)

Veuve Goudoulin VSOP is a Bas-Armagnac from the house founded in 1935 by Jeanne Goudoulin, who already held a large collection of armagnac built up by her and earlier generations. It is made by traditional methods from the distillation of white wines of the region in the continuous armagnac still. The spirit then ages in local oak for between 8 and 12 years, which gives it an amber colour. The nose is elegant, with vanilla, plum and toasted wood. The palate is balanced, round and soft, with good persistence.
