Weller 18 Year Old is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This 2025 limited edition has spent 18 years in maturation. The Weller name goes back to William Larue Weller, remembered for using wheat in place of rye in the mash bill. This release carries that idea into a much older age statement. The nose offers vanilla, old oak, honeyed cereal, tobacco leaf and cocoa powder, with cinnamon, apricot and date emerging over time. The palate is syrupy, with polished oak, burnt sugar, dark toffee and baking spices, then leather and black tea dryness. The finish carries cardamom and nutmeg.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
