Waterford Ratheadon Edition 1.1 is an Irish single malt distilled in 2016 from Irina barley grown at Ratheadon in County Carlow, on Stephen and Andrew McDonnella's farm. It belongs to the limited edition Single Farm Origin series, which keeps each farm's barley separate from field through to barrel. Production uses a mash filter, 120-hour fermentations and slow distillation to explore the influence of barley's growing location on flavour. This edition is bottled at 50% ABV.
