Wathen's Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 47%)

Wathen's Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Charles Medley Distillery, bottled at 47% (94 proof) in a 750ml bottle. Each bottle is hand-numbered and the barrels are personally selected by the Medley family. They are typically 6 to 8 years old. The label began in the 1940s, when R. Wathen Medley, a sixth-generation distiller, started picking out the best barrels for his own use. Production paused in the early 1970s and was revived in 1996 by his son Charles and grandson Samuel.
