Spice King Batch Strength is a blended malt from Wemyss Malts, in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 58% ABV. This is Batch 2.
It is a vatting of single malts from across Scotland, matured mainly in ex-bourbon American oak with some sherry casks. It is bottled without chill filtration and with no added colouring.
The nose is cinnamon, nutmeg and anise, with sea salt, sandalwood and a hint of tobacco smoke. The palate is Demerara sugar, carrot cake, orange peel, salted caramel and red peppercorns. The finish is medium to long, with caramel sauce, campfire smoke and black pepper.
