Westland – 'American' Single Malt Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Westland 'American' is the flagship single malt from the Seattle distillery, made entirely from malted barley and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The grain bill combines Washington Select Pale, Munich, Extra Special, Pale Chocolate and Brown malts with Bairds Heavily Peated malt. The whiskey was matured for over 40 months in a mix of new and used American oak, first-fill bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. The nose is custard pastry and blackberries. The palate offers caramelised sugar and toasted vanilla, followed by a smooth, buttery oak finish.
