Garryana Edition 5 comes from Westland, the Seattle distillery founded in 2010 by Matt Hoffman and Emerson Lamb. It is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof), with 5,625 bottles in this release.
The whisky was aged for 45 months in a mix of casks: 64% first-fill ex-bourbon Quercus alba and 36% virgin Quercus garryana. The grain bill combines Washington Select Pale Malt with Bairds Heavily Peated Malt.
