Westland Garryana Edition 8 is a single malt from Westland, the eighth release in a series exploring Garryana oak. It combines Garry oak, which brings a sturdy, savoury spice, with Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and Washington State red wine casks that add rich, dark fruit.
The wine cask finishes give a floral, rounded character alongside the spice of the oak. The nose offers new leather, brown sugar butter, dried rose and plum, and the palate brings brown bread, almond croissant and semi-sweet chocolate.
