Garryana is a single malt whiskey from Westland, released in a run of 3,750 bottles. It was matured in a mix of casks: ex-rye, ex-bourbon, Garry oak, PX hogshead and refill Garry oak. The casks spent between 44 and 75 months maturing, and the whiskey was made with Belgian brewer's yeast.
The nose is custard, blackberry syrup and dulce de leche, with a slightly savoury edge. On the palate come dried blueberries, fudgesicle, fresh oak and grilled plum.
