Westland Peated is an American single malt whiskey in a 70cl bottle. It spent two years in new American oak and first-fill ex-bourbon barrels.
The nose opens with nuttiness, smouldering greenery and charred orange peel. With time the greenery gives way to burning coals and cooked plantain.
The peat comes forward on the palate, with open fire smoke, iodine and stewed pistachios.
