Westland – Peated Single Malt (70cl)

This is a peated American single malt whiskey from Westland, in a 700ml bottle. The spirit was matured for two years in new American oak and first fill ex-Bourbon barrels. The nose opens with nuttiness, smouldering greenery and charred orange peel, and the greenery later gives way to burning coals and cooked plantain. On the palate the peat comes through with open fire notes, iodine and simmered pistachios.
