Westland – Sherry Oak Single Malt Whiskey (70cl)

Westland Sherry Oak is an American single malt made in Seattle, Washington, in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled from a mash bill of five roasted and kilned barley malts and matured mainly in new American oak casks. It takes inspiration from Scotch whisky-making while keeping its own identity. The nose has maple syrup, raisins and freshly baked cookies, with a touch of dried orchard fruit. The palate opens with kiwi and syrup-soaked pastries, building to molasses, brown sugar, toasted malt and cocoa. The finish brings stewed yellow fruits, gentle oak spice and a soft fade of vanilla.
